Meet Alfred, your AI product manager

Alfred interviews you about your idea, then sits three of the world's strongest AI models around a table to argue it out. You get a score out of ten, the objection that matters, and the seven stages that turn a product into a business.

    HOW A SESSION RUNS

Three or four minutes, start to verdict

    Alfred interviews you

Five or six short questions: the idea, the customer, the expensive problem, what exists today, and any evidence of demand. One question at a time, no forms.

    The board debates

Three frontier AI models take a seat each, give an opening assessment, then rebut one another. You watch the argument happen live.

    Verdict, then the method

A score out of ten with five sub-scores, the strongest objection and the riskiest assumption. Then Alfred asks whether to apply The Crossley Method and turn the product into a business.

    THE BOARD

Three models, three remits, one real argument

Each seat is a separate call to a different frontier model, so the disagreement is genuine rather than one model performing three voices. Alfred chairs, then synthesises.

    GPT-5.4

    The Strategist

    Market, wedge, positioning

    Gemini 3.1 Pro

    The Builder

    Feasibility, cost, AI viability

    GPT-5.6

    The Sceptic

    Competition, failure modes

Models are chosen for the seat, not the badge, and the line-up changes as better models ship. Claude is not currently available through this site's AI gateway, so it does not hold a seat today.

    Questions about Alfred

    What is Alfred?
Alfred is a free AI product manager built into Andrew Crossley's site. He interviews you about your product idea, convenes a board of three frontier AI models to debate it, scores the idea out of ten, and then applies The Crossley Method to map the route from product to business.
Which AI models sit on the board?
Three separate models, each given a different remit: GPT-5.4 as The Strategist, Google Gemini 3.1 Pro as The Builder, and GPT-5.6 as The Sceptic. Each is a genuinely separate model call, so the disagreement between them is real rather than one model role-playing three voices. Alfred himself runs on Gemini 3.6 Flash and chairs the session.
How is the score out of ten calculated?
Alfred synthesises the board's opening statements and rebuttals into five sub-scores — problem, demand, differentiation, feasibility and path to revenue — then an overall score. Five is an average idea, eight is genuinely strong, nine or above is rare.
How long does a session take?
The intake interview is five to seven short questions, usually three or four minutes. The board debate then runs for a minute or two while each model speaks and rebuts. The Crossley Method plan takes another thirty seconds.
Is it free, and what happens to my idea?
It is free. Your session is saved so you can return to its link, and Andrew can see it. Your idea is not published, sold or shared. Email is only requested at the verdict stage so Andrew can follow up if you want him to.
    What is The Crossley Method?
A seven-stage framework taking a product from idea to first revenue: Discover, Validate, Prototype, Build MVP, Launch, First Revenue and Scale, with an explicit kill-or-continue decision at every stage. Alfred applies it to your specific idea once the board has scored it.

Bring the roughest version of the idea. He has heard worse, and he is far too polite to say so.
