Who is responsible for your data

This site is run by Andrew Crossley, an independent product consultant based in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, UK. I am the data controller for anything you submit here. This page is maintained by me and describes how this website actually handles information — it is not a certification or an independent audit.

What I collect

I only collect what a form asks for. Depending on the form, that can include:

• Your name and email address
• Your company or product name and website, where you provide it
• The stage you are at, your budget range and what you need help with
• Event booking details: which session you want and how many places
• Answers you choose to submit from the free tools (PMF score, readiness score, MVP cost calculator)

Why I collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to reserve your place at an event, to send the course or club updates you asked for, and to prepare for a call with you. That's it. I do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing.

The lawful basis is legitimate interest for replying to a business enquiry you initiated, and consent where you ticked a box to receive updates.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a managed Postgres database hosted in the EU and reachable only by me through an authenticated admin area. Email correspondence sits in my mailbox. Payments for events, where taken, are handled by the payment provider and I never see or store full card details.

How long I keep it

Enquiries: up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted. Event bookings: 12 months after the event, kept for attendance and accounting. Tool submissions where you gave no contact details: retained in aggregate only. Newsletter or course lists: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. A first-party session value is used only if you sign into the admin area. Anonymous page-level usage counts may be recorded to see which pages are useful; they are not linked to you as an individual.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email the address below and I'll action it within 30 days, usually far sooner. If you are unhappy with how I've handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
